About this workshop:
Welcome to your medical appointment! What kind, you ask? That depends on YOU! Want to dig around your subs mouth as a sadistic dentist? How about being a sexy nurse performing some invasive exams? Does the role of a surgeon speak to you? We will give you the basics of crafting multiple medical scenes that can add flavor to many ways of play safely.
Presenter Bio:
Mama Bear (she/her) and Kiva (she/her) have been playing in the medical scene for over a decade. In fact, that’s how they met! They place a priority on authentic equipment and clothing that runs the gamut from actual scrubs, surgical PPE, all the way to full latex outfits. Mama Bear has prior nursing experience, while Kiva uses her technical mind to make operating room machines work in their play clinic.
Identification:
Attendees must present valid, physical government-issued identification for entry. The identification must include the attendee's legal first and last name as well as birthdate. (Must be 18 or older)
Accessibility:
- Accessibility: Narrow entry hall; one stair-step separates the main space from the kitchen and restrooms; venue now has a portable ramp that can be deployed on request. Steps lead to patio and fire pit. Venue itself is on a hill.
- Restrooms: Two ADA compliant single restrooms with grab bars.
- Lighting: Fluorescent, controlled by dimmers; colorful party lights aimed at ceiling in main room.
- Smoking: Permitted on patio.
- Parking: Small parking lot with one disabled space; the incline of the hill can make it difficult to keep car doors open; additional parking available on hill.
- Transit access: Limited access by one direct bus route that runs until approx. 9:45pm weeknights and approx. 8:30pm Saturdays; limited access by a bus stop 1/2 mile away (one way only) and a trolley station just over 1 mile away; check routes upon receiving address in will-call email.

Club X supports safety and responsibility to one's self as well as to others in the kink community in all things, including issues related to health and infectious diseases. For personal protection and for the well-being of those around them, Club X encourages its members and guests to be vaccinated according to CDC guidelines against communicable diseases. Club X supports anyone’s choice to wear masks.
If you are ill with any infection that can be spread through casual contact, please do not attend Club X in-person events. Regardless of symptom severity, if you know or suspect you are Covid positive or are otherwise ill, isolate in accordance with CDC guidelines. As a courtesy to others, and as a matter of personal responsibility, if you have been knowingly exposed to Covid-19, we request that you wear a high-quality mask, as recommended by the current CDC guidelines.
Club X reserves the right to require masking at an event if requested by the presenter. We will designate such events with “masks required” in the title.
